Left side, what?

I tried driving for the first time today after church. It was pretty interesting to say the least. First things first, sitting on the right side of the car and driving on the left side of the road is quite a trip already. A new friend said “you should kick your passenger to the curb” to help him remember his bearings while on the English roads. I tried going “fast” and barely made it over 30 mph and have to remember to not use my left drift at all. Mr. says it won’t help when I’m driving on the narrow streets with all the hedges and what not that come so close on the roads. Will be driving more and more throughout the week, and of course, will be posting updates.

Me being a passenger while the Mr. drives. More pictures of us driving around to come.

PS. Roundabouts – or traffic circles – are pretty scary. Places like Bury St. Edmunds are full of them; it’s one thing to study “yield to traffic from the right,” but it’s another thing to remember it when everything is brand new driving wise.

Disoriented,

the tan bunny ❤
